Energy performance certificate
An energy performance certificate (energideklaration) tells owners, tenants and buyers — and the public — how much energy a building uses.
What it contains
Running costs, figures and proposed measures
Energy use is often a major part of a building’s running costs. If there are suitable measures that would reduce the building’s energy use, the certificate must also include proposals for them.
These recommendations can be valuable to building owners, and also of interest to anyone thinking of buying a house, for example.
The purpose of energy performance certificates is to promote efficient energy use and a good indoor environment in buildings.
Certified energy expert
The certificate is drawn up by an energy expert certified for energy performance certificates. Our companies also employ an energy controller, energy technicians and a building engineer — so we can follow up the certificate’s proposals with practical measures.
