Three companies under one roof: chimney sweeping, indoor environment and inspection. We carry out chimney sweeping and fire safety inspections in Hedemora, the sweeping in Säter, and ventilation, OVK, energy, radon, sheet metal work and cleaning across southern Dalarna. The trade has passed down through our family since Carl Stefanus Dahlström became an apprentice in Stockholm in 1883.

We carry out the statutory chimney sweeping and fire safety inspections on behalf of the municipality — and everything else that keeps a fireplace, a chimney and a ventilation system in good order.
Fire safety inspection
Carried out by an authorised inspector under the Civil Protection Act. We examine the whole installation and give you a written report of any defects.

Our history
It began with our great-great-grandfather
Carl Stefanus Dahlström, born 1866, became an apprentice in Stockholm in 1883 under master chimney sweep Albert Gustaf Elander. After a long journeyman’s travels from north to south, he ended up in Vänersborg, where his certificate of apprenticeship was issued in 1901.
The road led on to Alingsås and, in 1919, to Hedemora, where he swapped places with master chimney sweep Axel Fjägerholm. Since then, the sweeping of the district has passed from generation to generation: Georg, Alf, Torbjörn — and since 2025 Christian Dahlström as managing director.

From the ground up we have built three companies with sixteen employees in total. All the partners hold a master craftsman’s certificate in chimney sweeping.
